Validate a CUSIP (9-character US/Canada securities identifier) with its mod-10 weighted check digit. Returns {valid, cusip, checkDigit, reason}. Catches transposed characters in security master / holdings data that a length check misses. Structure + checksum only.

How to call it

Requests are paid per call over the x402 protocol. Call the endpoint, receive a 402 Payment Required quote, then repeat the request with the signed payment header. The SDKs do both steps for you.
