EU VAT number validation against the official VIES service: valid or invalid, registered name and address, an optional check of the name you expect and, if you give your own VAT number, a VIES consultation number to keep as audit evidence. Norwegian numbers are checked against the Norwegian VAT register. Use when: onboarding an EU supplier or customer, or before paying an invoice.

How to call it

Requests are paid per call over the x402 protocol. Call the endpoint, receive a 402 Payment Required quote, then repeat the request with the signed payment header. The SDKs do both steps for you.
