Overview

Looks up tweets by ID and returns public text, timestamps, metrics, language, and expanded author profiles. Same read-only X API v2 backend as tweets; accepts tweet_ids or ids. No account mutation. Use it as a tweet lookup API, X tweet lookup, or Twitter status lookup by ID.

How to call it

Requests are paid per call over the x402 protocol. Call the endpoint, receive a 402 Payment Required quote, then repeat the request with the signed payment header. The SDKs do both steps for you.
