Pass ?name=Apple Inc., ?lei= or ?ticker=MSFT and get its identity from the public registries: GLEIF (legal name, LEI, jurisdiction, status, headquarters, direct and ultimate parent as reported; CC0) and SEC EDGAR for US filers (CIK, industry, fiscal year, latest 10-K / 10-Q / 8-K dates and the eight most recent filings with links). Names that do not match exactly are flagged; parents are looked up only for an exact match. Not sanctions screening, not a credit check, no verdict. A company neither registry holds is answered before payment: nothing is charged.

How to call it

Requests are paid per call over the x402 protocol. Call the endpoint, receive a 402 Payment Required quote, then repeat the request with the signed payment header. The SDKs do both steps for you.
